Hi,
here is a link to my band's homepage: www.tiw.rr-creative.com where you can download our new work "stick together".
We hope you have fun listening to our music

The album was created using nothing but Linux-software. The only not-free software used was turboprint which is needed to make the cd-printings.
Most recording and all mixing was done using AVLinux and Ardour. We started with a 3.x version of AVLinux and finished with the 4.1 version. Most of the mixing was done in my holiday using a live-AVLinux 4.0 DVD on my laptop. All cover-artwork was done using AVLinux and gimp. I love the fonts AVLinux is providing. Some recordings where done using Ubuntustudio 9.10 - just because there I can switch to my native language. But after running into troubles with Ardour running out of sync with more than about 10 tracks played at once we completely switched to AVLinux where we never had a similar problem.
CD copying and Cover-printing is done using Ubuntustudio.

Our best regards to GMaq and his great AVLinux distribution! I admire so much what you do! And now: you hopefully have fun listening to our music  Cool

Rainer

Ps.: I've edited this post because it was googles first hit searching for my band.

Rainer,

I really like this project, the more I listen the more I like. I really find the arrangements and the mixes keep you interested and of course all the songs tell a story and I just love the singers voice and accent. You claim to not be a pro but a project and genre of music like this could easily get ruined by too much "professionalism", keep doing what you're doing...it's working!
