I just installed 4.1 because I broke my 4.0 (don't ask...).
ardour is working well except for VST plugins- any vst I try to insert says the number of audio streams don't match, that there are 0 and I need 1 or 2. But all of ladspa and lv2 plugs work fine. Not a huge deal as I have left my windows vst's behind when I decided to go all linux, but just wondering if there's something I am doing wrong as there are a few freebies I miss and might use once in a while (the tin brook tales stuff is very cool, digital fish phones too which you included.) Thanks!

Hi

Probably Wine related, there is a newer Wine package here: http://www.bandshed.net/checkinstall/wine_1.3.5avlinux-1_i386.deb or you can uninstall the included Wine 1.3.2 and enable the 'lamaresh' Wine repos in Synaptic and install Wine 1.1.42 which is aging but worked well with VST's in the past. Debian Wine packaging is in a bad way right now that's why I've resorted to building my own. As always VST support is a big roulette wheel!
