Now that qtractor has automation I've been exploring it more thoroughly and part of that has involving checking out the DSSI synths of which the best I've found has been Whysynth:

Its in the squeeze repos, it sounds great, comes with 100's of good presets, its powerful yet CPU efficient

BUT

for some crazy reason it has been neglected for inclusion by AVL thus far so I have come to politely request GMaq rectify this horrific omission with the next release!
