<preamble>
HI! I'm a total noob. (been using linux for a couple months, and LOVING it)
This week, my self-imposed homework is to create a DVD of some family videos. It wasn't long before i discovered AV Linux!
I watched a few demos (Bombono, 2mandvd, DeVeDe, DVDStyler), and 2mandvd looks like an authoring tool that will fit my learning curve.
</preamble>

But... when launching it says,
WARNING ! Missing dependancies :FFMPEG
btw: i installed using Synaptic... if that matters.

Any advice?
(I'm not shy around the commandline, but compiling my own sources may be beyond me... for now)
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Thats weird because ffmpeg is certainly there... Let me look into it, in the meantime DeVeDe, Bombono and DVDStyler are are probably the most popular and widely used DVD authoring apps in the Linux world...
