Tryint to run AVLINUX in VirtualBox and after choosing Live, it boots and stops at the login screen asking for username and password.   Does anyone know what the default is.   I have tried "user" and "live"  or "root" and nothing for the passwords  but no dice.

You probably don't have enough ram setup for the virtual machine.  Its a Virtual Box issue.

I also have the same issue, I installed AV Linux 5.02 i386 on Virtualbox
and on boot it is asking for a user and password, nothing seems
to work. I have a 10GB virtual drive and plenty of ram.

Does anyone know the default username and password?
it isnt listed anywhere

Hi,

Do you mean the passwords you created during the install process don't work?

No I mean when I boot the AVLINUX CD in virtual box  to set install it on the drive...it goes up to login and prompts for username and password.    Nothing works.   What's the trick?

How much ram do you both have for the virtual box vm?

Saying "enough" unfortunately doesn't tell me anything and we woudl like to help or figure out what is wrong so we can either correct it or get it to boot for you.

With all that said, there have been known issues with virtual box lately so the vb version and what os you are running it on would also help.
