I wanted to make a live and preconfigured installation disk of debian unstable, so i grabed a copy of aptosid, added non-free firmwares, installed some custom debs.. and swiched from ceni to NetworkManager (KDE4.6)
On the real system everything runs perfectly fine.
Then i fired up the lastest debian version remastersys, left all settings on default, used the backup option.
On the live cd (usb drive actually -and also installations made from it) I cant choose wifi-networks anymore when on the user account. the network manager returns "insufficient privileges" whenever i want to configure it. it does automatically connect to networks i set up before remastering however. and the user i logged in is in the netdev group..
when I login as root, it works.. but not on the admin/sudoers/netdev account..
Any ideas for a workaround? i think maybe i need to edit polkit-1, but i have no idea what to put in there.
any suggestions very much appreciated.

ps: i've done research on networkmanager and polkit-1 , but nothing that helped..
pps: i tried it with ceni, which promts for root password and therefore can connect to networks fine, but is 1: does not set the dns in resolv.conf and unless i edit it every time by hand i cant get any dns resolved and only get to connect to IPs directly and 2: does occasionally causes the pc to freeze caused by a python script it uses to take all system resources (i.e. cpu time). so i'd rather not use ceni.
