I want to add a distro iso on my remaster specifically for Virtual Box.  Inside Virtual Box it will have browser for the purpose of guarding against sniffing attacks.  I need a lightweight  distro that Remastersys can remaster so I can disable the root user.   I will then make this lightweight distro launch with a user that has very base privileges.

Anybody know of something remasterable and lightweight?

your best bet is either..

ubuntu LXDE
or debian (lxde or xfce)

ubuntu xfce is very heavy, so i would stay away from it in this case.

also, if you are looking for this usage i would recommend not installing the system in vbox, run it live.

maybe there is a live system out there that already has everything you need?

debian live xfce? install usually does not work/sucks on debian live builds, but it is a VERY useful live system.
