Hello everybody. I know that maybe this question has been asked by the whole world, but i'm italian and I can't google all the web trying to understand difficult wnglish words  Cool so please be patient with me  Sad
Ok, here's my problem. I've got a Ubuntu 11.10 system. I log in with GNOME (Shell), so not with Ubuntu. I want to make a distributable copy of my OS, which option of remastersys need I choose? Can you explain me the differences between all the choices?
Thanks a lot

There are 2 main modes of operation for remastersys.

Backup mode is to create a backup of your system including your personal files.  This is what you would choose if you needed a true backup in case of hardware failure.

Dist mode is to create a copy of your system that you can share with anyone like the original ubuntu live iso system.  It doesn't contain any personal information but includes all the programs you have installed and your personal settings.

I hope this helps.  If not, you can freely post in Italian and I will use google translate.
