Hi all

I am trying to make an iso of my existing fresh install, so I can mess around and try things out without breaking my working machine.

I have created the ISO, but when I boot off of it using virtualbox, it just hangs on the boot menu. I have tried recreating the iso a couple of times, I use the Dist option to create, oh and the vdi file I have for the disk is a dynamically sized 50gb one, so should be plenty of space.

Log below, any help appreciated! Cheers  Cool

I would upgrade to the newest version that is about to be released at the end of the week.  It can be found here - http://www.remastersys.com/downloads

It would also be a good idea to go over your VM settings - ram, etc.

Hmm didnt like that, when I try to install gives me this (below). Also when removed from the source list and tried just from the deb it wont give me an option to install at all Sad

not sure why its trying to process both versions, however it seems to be getting stuck on /usr/bin/plymouth-preview

have made sure it has plenty of RAM etc, dont think its anything todo with the VM configuration

That is because you haven't installed the new remastersys 3.0.2-1 base package.

Either try it from the terminal window or use gdebi.
