Hi there,

is someone around who is using Xfce 4.8 with AV Linux 5.0.3?

Here in Thunar the "Audio" tab is missing when right clicking on an audio file, maybe someone knows a cure for that?

TIA!

Hi,

Did you build 4.8 from source? or bring it in from Testing/unstable? If I recall only 4.6 is available in the default Squeeze repos so perhaps there are missing features in some of the 4.6 support libs for 4.8...just a guess, I don't really test other D.E's for AV Linux especially outside of Squeeze.

No but maybe I should. Smile

It's a backport from debian-desktop.org

I always happen to find lxde especially pcmanfm a bit too basic for my habits...

Hi,

Hmmm, those are some interesting repositories there, hadn't seen those before...

BTW Nautilus works pretty nicely within LXDE if you run it with the --no-desktop switch...just sayin'

Oh, never came to my mind that one could install nautilus without all those gnome dependencies. Pretty hot hint, thx a million!

Just noticed that Nautilus respawns after closing it in Xfce.

But one can prevent it from doing so by setting
Code:
X-GNOME-AutoRestart=false
in
/usr/share/applications/nautilus.desktop.
