Hello Milagro and welcome!

How to log in as default is in the manual. ( the part about 'slim login' )
Did you find that already?
Does this not work -as it should- under virtual box?

Or do I don't understand your problem right?

I know I have seen some weirdness when booting the live DVD in VirtualBox.  I don't recall offhand how I got around it, maybe try the various boot options like 'live' or 'failsafe'?

I don't see a option the start a terminal to eddit the slim.conf
Isn't there a default user-name and password provide with AV Linux?

When I start the ISO it gives me 4 options;
  • Live
  • Live (failsafe)
  • Memtest
  • HD- boot

Hi,

If you are running the LiveDVD in VirtualBox it shouldn't be asking you for a login at all, it is supposed to autologin for the Live Session. It is most likely that you have a bad download or something is wrong with your ISO, it could also be a Virtualbox problem, but I personally haven't seen this. The only situation that anyone should ever need to enter a password when using an AV Linux LiveDVD is when you log out and log back in during a Live session in which case the password is 'live', you should never be prompted for a username at all.

I have burned the ISO to a DVD and now don't need a password
It also works with VMware Workstation but not with the free version
