Hello All,

My wired internet connection in Wicd works great except I cannot detect wireless networks. The thing I notice is that the led indicator for my wireless card does not light up when I try the "Fn" key. My bluetooth works fine. I am using a Dell Inspiron 9300 with an Intel Pro-Wireless 2915 ABG card. I tried installing the ipw2200 drivers but am unsure where to go from here. Any suggestions? Thanks!

An iwconfig command shows the following:

root@Audio:/home/jhenne# modprobe -r ipw2200
root@Audio:/home/jhenne# modprobe ipw2200
root@Audio:/home/jhenne# iwconfig

In WICD, in the 'preferences' tab, what does it say for 'wireless interface'?  By default it is set to wlan0, you need to change that to eth1.
